Hi, I’m Anne Dougherty.
I’ve worked in content strategy and design for over 20 years.
In those years, I’ve been privileged to work with non-profit organizations, in agencies, in the public sector, for small businesses, and in large enterprise.
I do this work because I’m fascinated by the intersection of storytelling and technology. This grows from a lifelong curiosity about the way people see and shape their world.
I am realistic about implementation, never sacrificing the good for the perfect. And I thrive on solving the right problems.
I’m an avid reader, lifelong writer, and a film buff who has seen more than 75% of the AFI Top 100 movie list.
My published short fiction appeared Lavender Ink and The Reflecting Pool, two literary magazines which are now defunct.
I won a “Best of the Festival: Feature Screenplay” award from American University. I’ve also “won” National Novel Writing Month in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2013, and 2018.
I’m a second generation DC native and am proud to still call the Nation’s Capital my home.
For fun and exercise during the winter, I throw stones at houses at the Potomac Curling Club.
